I had a very relaxing yet productive day today. This week is my spring break, and I didn't have to work today or tomorrow, so I decided to spend my time working on my scrap quilts. First thing when I woke up, I started working on my 16 patch scrappy blocks, and by 1pm I had them all done! Here are some pictures of the blocks.
After I got these blocks done I went and picked up some fabric from the UPS will call. Why at the will call you ask? Because I can't for the life of me get UPS to deliver things to my home at a time when I'll actually be there. It's a whole lot of fun. Anyway it was fabric that I had been waiting for for a while, so I was excited to get it. It's the water bouquet print in the color midnight, from Amy Butler's "Love" line. Then I got back and started working on the pinwheel blocks for the "patches and pinwheels" quilt I'm making. Hopefully I'll get them finished tomorrow, and then I'll be able to put the top together.
I still can't find my camera, but my boyfriend was kind enough to let me use his (thanks Davy!). So as promised, here are the pictures of my purchases from Tuesday. In the first picture are the remnants I picked up at JoAnn's, and in the second picture are the great prints I picked up at Sew Unique Threads.
